Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 24, 2026
Overview
FlakeRadar ("we", "us") provides CI flakiness analysis for GitHub repositories. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable privacy laws.
Data we collect
- GitHub OAuth profile information (username, email, avatar)
- GitHub Actions workflow run metadata (job names, statuses, commit SHAs)
- Repository identifiers you submit for analysis
- Payment and subscription data processed by Stripe
What we do not collect
We never access your source code. GitHub tokens are used solely to read CI workflow metadata via the GitHub Actions API and are not stored after analysis completes.
Data storage and encryption
All data is stored encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Data in transit is protected via TLS 1.2+. Analysis reports and account data are stored in secure cloud infrastructure (Upstash Redis).
How we use your data
- To generate flakiness reports for your repositories
- To manage your subscription and account
- To send weekly email digests (Pro subscribers)
Data sharing
We never sell your data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate FlakeRadar (Stripe for payments, Upstash for storage, GitHub for CI metadata). All providers are bound by data processing agreements.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise these rights, email privacy@flakeradar.io. We will respond within 30 days.
Data retention and deletion
Reports are retained for 30 days. Account data is retained while your account is active. Upon request or account deletion, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
